January and February of 2015, we are having one of the best beginning or kick start to the real estate market place in the Northern Virginia area compared to last year January/February 2014 and fall to winter real estate market of 2014.
All positive sign in the Northern Virginia real estate market place:
- We have seen some home sellers getting multiple offers on their home.
- Many homes are under contract within the first few weeks of the listing.
- An increase in showings. Especially on the homes that were on the market through holiday season.
- Open house- definitely have a huge success with many potential buyers considering purchasing a home visiting.
- Reduced inventory has been still a challenge for a certain price point in the Northern Virginia area.
- With anxiety of rise in interest rater many want to lock in NOW ..that has lead to urgency in the market place.
- Even with wintery mix weather we are seeing a traffic/contracts on our listings in the area.
- Already some of the areas in the Fairfax & Arlington have seen a dramatic price increase compared to last year.
- New construction in Loudoun has been strongest.
