Normal? We have a saying around here, "If you start thinking you're normal, you're in real trouble!" Sorry but I couldn't help but share that little quote with you :)
I'm sorry my spectrum must be broken. I thought it was white and gold Suzanne McLaughlin!
Suzanne, I saw it on MLB it lit up Twitter, so I immediately sent it to Diane needless to say we were on opposite sides of how we see things (again):)))))Endre
I remember hearing about the dress, but not seeing it. Interesting article.
You know I saw a post about this dress earlier. I commented on that. You won't believe this, but lately I've been thinking of an incident with my father. I was a young girl of about ten. Now remember I was raised by a single father. He was taking me out to dinner with him and one of his best friends. I was suppose to dress nice and act nice. I wanted to wear to my dark blue slacks and a favorite green top.
I was told I couldn't do that because green and blue didn't go together. I disagreed. But daddy won out and I had to pick another shirt. Now these colors work together for people today. I guess we really all do look at things in a different way. And times and appeal changes.
I know the dress thing is different, but it just seems so strange it would come up to me when I've been thinking about this incident with my dad.
We
have
been talking about this with friends. People have to much time on their hands
Suzanne, what is normal? Who is to say the person that says "this" is normal, is normal?
I I am never a good person to ask for a color of anything the kids all dis agree with me
Good morning Suzanne. Haven't seen the dress, as it wasn't really important, but your post is a good one. So, what is normal and it is a good thing that many see something different.
Make it a great weekend!
Suzanne, seldom do I see what other people see and vice versa! Enjoy your day!
I like John McCormack (Debbie's) comment, too. You have rarely been described as "normal". LOL!

Good morning Suzanne. I saw the "dress" on all day yesterday. I think there were two dresses: sometimes it was clearly one thing, then at other times another. Like life.
Hmmm, Suzanne. Are you sure you should be making claims about being normal based on such scanty evidence? We need more data.
I saw the dress as white and gold! While some think it is silly to make "the dress" part of our news, I see it as welcome change from folks blowing up each other. I liked the story about the Llamas too! We needed relief, folks! It isn't like we missed out on anything, by having a few moments of frivolity!
It's all about the dress, the dress, the dress. And, I agree with Dick and Ron!
Suzanne, i have never heard of this but i will check it out after writing this comment. Enjoy Ron's B-Day and have a wonderful Sunday..
Suzanne,
Now I now why I marred Robert (Bob) Gilbert , I have heard about this but will read after the comment..I just wanted to stop by and say glad you are treating the Birthday boy right I know that chocolate cake was made from scratch! Have a good one!
I saw several versions of the dress and wondered how they were doing that.
I still don't get it...everytime I see it, it is clearly white and gold. I don't get how it can possibly be called BLACK.

Debbie Walsh Don't feel bad. There are so many people who only see it the one way. As I said, I might not be entirely normal!
Hi Suzanne McLaughlin . I am glad you feel vindicated. I can't pay attention to the color as my brain starts wandering after 2 seconds since I find the dress utterly ugly.
There must be different wavelengths too corresponding to form, shape and style.![]()
Hi Suzanne --- YIKES! Another post and discussion about that dress!
Of course in Los Angeles we had not just one dress du jour mystery but two.
Yes, we are different.
It seems the Oscar winner(Best Supporting Actress 2014) Lupita Nyong'o had a dress she wore during this Academy Awards ceremony(a stunning gown made from pearls with a price tag of $150,000) was taken from her room at the boutique hotel The London. It was returned today when the person who stole it took two pearls from the dress to the LA Jewelry District and was told they were fake. Much more exciting than some stupid dress found on Amazon if you ask me.
