St Helena, a city of about 6,000 is located in the Napa Valley and is one of the most desirous places to live. In my 30 years of selling real estate here St Helena and Yountville are one-two or visa versa as the place people want to buy.
The city consists of a true Main Street when most of the retail businesses and restaurants are located but does have several commercial, industrial areas which house many diverse business with many associated with winemaking.
One of the odd facts which is often expressed by locals, the West Side of Main Street is the place to be. Even though there are many charming homes on the East Side, the West costs about a 10-20% premium when it comes to buying a home here. Just one of those things.
