I Am Going To Run Away And Join The Circus!

Well, I am not, but my kid could.  

When looking for things to do for kids near Catonsville,MD and Columbia, Maryland, we found Center Ring Circus School.  It is owned and operated by Gregory May, a former Ringling Bros. clown.  Greg is so encouraging to all the kids (and I am sure the adults too).  The classes are open to all ages and ability levels. 

Syd started at the summer camp last year and loved every minute!  She came home happy and exhausted every night!  She learned how to ride a unicycle, spin plates, balance on balls, juggle, and some basic aerial and trapeze arts.  She fell in love with Aerial and has been taking classes that focus on Aerial since.

There are classes for kids and adults.  Most of the classes are in the evening or on weekends, but if you are homeschooling and looking for daytime activities, there are classes on Wednesday afternoons.  

If you are looking for a unique birthday party idea near Catonsville or Ellicott City, MD, this is a wonderful and fun option. Why just watch the circus, when you can perform in one?!   Though classes are only offered in Columbia, MD, Summer Camps are available in Columbia and Greenbelt.
