There are some really interesting things to do in March in Arizona - I think there is something for everyone - from arts and crafts fairs to Ostrich Festivals and Rodeos!  I hope that you will find something that is perfect for you.  I love getting feedback, so please let me know if you enjoyed any of these activities or if there are others that you think I should include.  Have a great March!!

Renaissance festival

Weekends through March 29th -  (every Saturday and Sunday)  The Arizona Renaissance Festival features jousting tournaments, ongoing entertainment on the 12 theater stages, rides, arts and crafts and plenty of food.  Located 7 miles east of Apache Junction on U.S. Highway 60.  http://www.royalfaires.com/arizona/

Kite Festival

March 13th – 15th -  45th Annual Scottsdale Arts Festival  - Scottsdale - Civic Center Mall - Scottsdale is known for its arts as well as its fairs and this festival is rated among the top in the country!  With more than 175 juried artists, 22 bands and entertainers and 12 gourmet food trucks the Civic Center is going to be hopping! St. Patrick's Day Man

March 14th -  32nd  Annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade & Irish Family Faire -  Phoenix  - Parade at 10 am  -  3rd St. South from Sheridan to Moreland with pipe bands, marching bands, floats, Irish step dancers.  The Faire follows immediately after the parade at Margaret T. Hance Park. N. Central Ave and W. Dragon Boats

March 28th  - March 29th - 12th Annual Arizona Dragon Boat Festival -  Tempe - Tempe Town Lake  - 50 dragon boat racing teams from all over the world are expected to participate in racing these 40-foot-long rowing canoes with 20 paddlers, one steersperson & a drummer in a 500-meter race.  The festival also features music, food, vendors and performances by martial arts and dance groups.  Free, 9 am – 4 pm,  www.azdba.com
