When Your Clients Move, Suggest an OPEN ME FIRST Box
Everyone HATES moving. They like getting there and being there. They rarely like the in between. However, it can be less stressful if they take a few moments to think about what they will need between leaving here and living there!
If you suggest that they pack an OPEN ME FIRST box, you could be the hero in their eyes. This box needs to go either in the vehicle with them or last on the moving van.
IT NEEDS TO STICK OUT LIKE A SORE THUMB!
This box should have anything that makes life comfortable from the moment they arrive….sheets, bedding, the utensils to make a first meal, dishes and silver, and salt and pepper. Also, towels and washcloths, shower curtains and soap. Think picnic for food, and think camping for showers and bedding.
Make sure it has a hammer, screwdrivers (phillips and slot and maybe some vodka and orange juice, too! LOL!) If the electronics haven’t or won’t be available right away, perhaps a radio will fill in for a day, too. Make sure all the charging stations are either in your luggage or this box, too.
This is just some advice from someone who has been there, done that a couple dozen times. And, I thank him for the great advice.
