Exploring Groton Connecticut-The Bayou Smokehouse
After a Feng Shui Consultation in Rhode Island, I began my travels back toward New York and stopped off at Groton Connecticut to refill on gas. Along the way I saw The Bayou Smokehouse, which caught my attention. I decided to stop in and grab a quick bite before heading back and was pleasantly surprised with the great service and flavor of BBQ. The Bayou Smokehouse is a family owned and operated business that is coming into its 3rd year in business. The is a lot of love and passion for this business.
The prices are very reasonable for what is included with your meal. I had a meal with 1/2 lb of ribs, rice, cole slaw and corn bread for $11.00. Add another 4 dollars and you can enjoy a combination platter of tasty BBQ meats.
