Never too LATE for a Realtor Written Business Plan.

So what, it's March? Better late than NEVER EVER NEVER.

First, I assembled the Buffini, Ferry and Trulia Business Plans.

Then I ran off and sold and settled some houses.

So today I read through them all finally. I really thought about it. Hours. 

Sometimes I march (yes, it's March) to my very own Golden Results DRUMMER.

I wrote down 10-10-5-15 in my daily list of to do items. 

I noticed a lot of 10 numbers in the NAR 2014 HomeBuyer and Seller Reports.  Something like Buyers look at ten homes in ten weeks plus go roughly ten miles and hold on to the home ten years. That is from memory but ten is the notable number.

So my TEN of a Business Plan is 10-10-5-15. Fifteen minus five is ten to help me remember all the tens.

Translated, on WEEKDAYS, ten past client calls, ten prospects and follow up lead calls, five notes....

PLUS on a WEEKLY basis, fifteen popbys.

That's my 2015 Golden road map to Golden Results.

It's never to late to start a business plan and it sounds like you have solid one. It's important to remember that your best source of new business comes from people who already know, like and trust you. You need to be sure they remember you. That's why I have class I teach called Relationship Marketing.

You are so right about the importance of a business plan.  I tend to fall into that trap whereby I have good intentions.......I review last year, contemplate my plan for the coming year and then get so busy listing and selling that I don't spend enough time actually focusing on other aspects of my plan.  Thank you for the great reminder.

Cheryl --  Good reminder to first of all HAVE a plan, then most important to follow it! Takes a lot of focus as many times I get so busy some activities like those you mentioned go by the wayside.  You're right, though. It's never too late.
