Do You Sell Real Estate on a Daily Basis? Why You Should Not Try to Sell Your House on Your Own!
Don has put together some great points about selling our own home. I am trying to help someone who sold their own home and are now getting sues, because they didn't know the laws.
Smart people know what they can and can't do properly and saving a couple bucks doesn't always save money.
Do You Sell Real Estate on a Daily Basis? Why You Should Not Try to Sell Your House on Your Own!
This is not a stock purchase, airline ticket or vacation. This is your life and your future, and the repercussions of a bad or uneducated move could be costly. Very costly!
There are abundant risks involved in any real estate transaction. And, if you don’t have the experience to deal with them, timely and in an appropriate manner, you will likely get burned. You are the one who is taking the heat. And, you are the one with the most to lose.
People who have not worked in this industry will probably have no idea.
There are many web sites to research. However, there is no substitute for the proven professional in your corner.
And, no, I am not referring to just someone you know with a license...I am talking about the serious professional you will know when you meet one.
You will feel the passion, and they will be making eye contact. Are you prepared to meet someone with years of experience in buying and selling real estate on your own?
You don’t do this every day of your life for years. You will be going toe to toe and head to head with someone who knows the market, likely, knows the laws and knows the best real estate negotiating tactics.
I hope if you are selling on your own, I am not the buyer agent. You will be up against someone who is a professional and not an amateur.
I know the market, the laws and how property needs to be purchased. Do you?
