What to look for in a Eden Prairie Real Estate Agent!

As I try and make sure that I am the best agent that I can be for my clients the try and put myself in their shoes.  If I was looking to buy a home in Eden Prairie Mn, I would want the best Eden Prairie Real Estate Agent that I could find.  What would that mean?

 

I think it takes many things to be a great Eden Prairie Real Estate Agent.

These are the things that I try to do for my clients in Eden Prairie:

 

Sellers:

 

1.  Know the market.  As you can see from the link above, I have over 3,000 clients that I have worked with and I know the Eden Prairie Real Estate Market very well.

 

2.  Be available.  In order to be a good listing agent, you need to be available on nights and weekends to show your Eden Prairie listings.  Not every agent agree's with this and I understand that but I believe that the best agent should show buyers that have contacted the listing agent or team to see one of his or her listings.  The agent that knows the most about the listing is normally the agent that listed it.  I always try and show my own listings myself.  Again, this is my preference and I am not going to say that other agents that do it different are wrong but in my eyes, the agent that knows the most about the listing is most likely the agent that sat with the sellers and listed the home which is me!

 

3.  Advertise where it makes sense and is finacially possible.  Not all Eden Prairie agents have the money to feature their Eden Prairie Listings on Trulia, Zillow and Realtor.com.  Yes, I agree that these sites try and sell leads back to the agents but why not look at it from the seller's prospective.  If I was a seller, I would want my house features on each of these sites(end of story for me)  That is why I do this.  Trulia says that featured homes get 4x more views and Zillow says that featured homes get 7x more views.  My job is to get as many possible buyers to see my seller's home so that we have the best chance of selling the home for the best price.

It is the way you market, not just the money you throw at the portals. Waste a buyer's time, you won't be seeing him/her at a real estate closing. Or around the kitchen table in a few years listing what they want to upgrade and catching the flip flop bigger, better real estate sale  that quickly follows.
