Movies at Main Street Landing Performing Arts Center - March 2015

By
Real Estate Broker/Owner with Great American Dream Realty

The Main Street Landing Performing Arts Center will be showing free movies to the public on Tuesday nights in March. While the event is free, they are asking for donations to the Addison County Special Olympics in lieu of the price of a movie ticket.

Main Street Landing has a twenty five foot movie screen with Dolby Surround Sound. The theatre is in pristine like-new condition. The Skinny Pancake and San Sai Sushi are located on the same block and would make a good choice to dine before the movie.

The movie selections for this month include -

March 10 - Gypsy (1962)

March 17 - Lost Horizon (1932)

March 24 - The Usual Suspects (1995) - Great plot!

March 31 - The Searchers (1956)

The theatre is located on the third floor at 60 Lake Street in Burlington, Vermont. Join Great American Dream Realty in supporting Addison County Special Olympics by donating at this event.

Lisa, what a great treat for your Burlington, Vermont residents!  You will have to educate me on these films as I am not familiar with them.  I must be just too young to have seen them!  ^_~

Bruce Walter , the only one I have seen is The Usual Suspects and it was very interesting. I do like to go back and watch some of the classics from time to time. Gone With the Wind is a favorite.

Lisa, I am still traumatized by seeing GWTW  as I can still hear that syrupy oft repeated line in my sleep,  "Ohhhhhhhhhh,  Ashley. . . !!!!"

The movie was very good, the venue was clean and comfortable, but the opening speech by a Special Olympian thanking the community for our suport was the best part.
