An Atlas V rocket from United Launch Alliance is planned to be launched this coming Thursday night at 10:44pm from Cape Canaveral Air Force Station. This will be part of NASA's Magnetospheric Multiscale (MMS) mission. This MMS uses 4 identical spacecraft. They will be spaced in Earth’s orbit to take three-dimensional measurements of magnetospheric boundary regions. The launch will use two solid rocket boosters. As with all launches from the Cape, a launch can be scrubbed if the weather does not cooperate.
