Downtown Los Angeles Views: life of an Urban Dweller!

When we represent buyers in Downtown Los Angeles, the focus is basically on three things. One what are the amenities that they get for  the Home Owner Dues i.e.: is there a roof top pool or an indoor pool or a pool on the grounds?  The second focus is on  the question is there a Gym to work out i.e.: how state of the art is the workout room? Then lastly and most importantly what are the views like? The best part is since it is Downtown, there are virtually no bad views.

Clearly everyone knows that the “walk score” is perfect. After all you can walk to the Restaurants and Staples Center from virtually all Condominium Buildings. Parking could be an issue because some of these Condominiums were converted  commercial buildings.

So what are your questions that you would like to know and want in your Downtown Condominium? Let me know and I will try to find our for you.

Hi Endre - I'm sorry I missed a swing through downtown when I was out there - it has clearly changed so much from when I lived there.

At the very least, walk scores in any down town area should be ideal. Parking is always another story

Hannah Williams  funny that it makes a difference, often when we show a Condo and there is no roof deck pool some people are turned off. Ironically virtually half the residents never use the roof top pool. Endre

George Souto  downtown has not caught on to Manhattan Prices yet....on the other hand the Wilshire Coridor Westwood/Century has similar price points . Los Angeles Downtown is still affordable singles from  low $300k to the Penthouse Units around $3-5million depending which day you are searching for active or sold. The bulk of the inventory is still south of $1million.

Hi Endre -- most of the buildings have very nice amenities especially the newer construction complexes but some of the older buildings that have been converted have some parking issues --- DTLA definitely offers a very cool vibe for those who want a bit more urban lifestyle.

On Site amenities and the Parking situation are the questions we get here in DC.

Pools....we have those, not as common as LA.
