I think we could both use a fix of beautiful garden displays. Wisteria is blooming here, blossom trees are still lovely, spring bulbs are up and spreading their cheer.  A good garden show is a treasure; hope yours returns to its roots next year.

Good morning Bette. I saw parts of this on QVC over the weekend. I am a purest too and think the commercialism ruins it.

Hi Bette Gottwald ,  That seems to be the theme of everything nowadays "Commercialism"  It's a shame!

When they continue with the themes it does tend to take it away from the sole beauty of the plants and flowers and muddies the water. The creativity is astounding.

The Philadelphia Flower Show is really nice Bette. I could have some fun with my camera, I love photographing Mother Nature. Thanks for sharing.

On our last trip to the Philadelphia Flower Show, we purchased a back pack full of dahlia tubers.

Yes.... I too wonder what does this have to do with the theme of this show! You just see it everywhere. Oh well we are all in it to make money.
