The 2015 Prince Frederick Empty Bowls Fundraiser marks the 15th year that Project ECHO has held this amazingly fun fundraiser for their organization.  Your donation gives you one very unique bowl that has been decorated and donated by local organizations and individuals.  In this bowl, you will receive your choice of cream of crab soup, chili (with meat or vegetarian variety), chicken noodle soup and vegetable soup (regular, vegetarian or with Maryland crab).  You will also receive bread, chicken wings, a side salad and your choice of 25 different desserts.  All of these delicious offerings have been donated by very generous members of our Prince Frederick community.

To ensure that every last dime will benefit Project ECHO, Empty Bowls depends on the kindness of donations from the community.  That includes the food, the bowls, the utensils, napkins, cups, beverages, the entertainment, the venue itself, the pre-printed tickets, all advertising materials (including posters and fliers), a full-color program book for attendees and everything that goes up for bid in the silent auction.  Even the people serving the food generously volunteer their time and energy for this event.  So, you might be served dinner by a Girl or Boy Scout, a member of a local ministry, middle school students, members of Project ECHO's Board of Directors, airmen from Joint Base Andrews or a number of other volunteers in the area.

The 2015 Prince Frederick Empty Bowls Fundraiser culminates in a fun silent auction.  Guests will have the opportunity to bid on sporting event tickets, resort tickets, museum passes, gift cards, free oil changes and signed sports memorabilia among other items.  All ages are welcome to attend the evening's festivities.

Tickets for the 2015 Prince Frederick Empty Bowls Fundraiser are $20 in advance.  If you wait until the night of the event, they will be $25 (if tickets are still available).  To get your tickets or find out more about the evening's festivities, please contact Trisha Gipson at (410) 535-0044.
