Windsafe Inspections MOLD INSPECTIONS DIVISION We are a full service mold inspection firm. What this means to you is that we are not just taking mold samples, we are going to investigate where the source of the mold problem is. Mold needs water and/or moisture in order to grow. There are common places throughout a home where mold appears more frequently although there are many situations that are not that easy to find. This is where the experience of a Certified Mold Inspector comes into play. Here at Windsafe Inspections we are Certified Mold Inspectors through ESA, IAC2 and Pro-Lab. We use Pro-Lab for all of our sample testing, they are an Accredited Environmental Testing Laboratory. Mold Remediation can be extremely costly but if the problem is caught early enough it is not necessary, many time we have seen handy homeowners fix the problem on their own. If you do have to go through mold remediation or if you are able to do the mold clean up work yourself you will ALWAYS want to perform a Post Remediation Test and NEVER use the remediation company for this test. This final testing procedure provides confirmation that the project has been satisfactorily remediated and that the mold contamination has not spread to other areas.
