What no home inspection?

Hey has anyone ever had a builder in SC have such stringent regulations that a home inspector could not do a home inspection due to a lack of CONTRACTORS LIABILITY INSURANCE?  They are not contractors... WTH!?  I must be missing something.  Home Inspectors do have Liability Insurance and some even up to the standards the builders require.   Are you aftaid of what they might find Mr Builder?

No, that seems weird, I would advise my clients to really think about dealing with that builder.

I've not ever had that come up when working with builders.  It has been my experience that new homes often need a home inspection just like resale homes do!
