Suzanne - sometimes ou have to go through some fought spots to get to a better place.  Keeping paper or word docs helps during transition.

They took everything away from me.  It is like I never commentedted or wrote a post..and no one ever commented or followed me.  My past here is completely gone.  This really sucks.  Thanks, ActiveRain.  Bring on the robo-bloggers, Zillow.  They don't care about community either. 

Suzanne, I have really seen some good come out of this issue, as it has raised a new awareness about people reciprocating comments.  I wonder if some of the inveterate talkers will become walkers???

A+ for effort, Suzanne!   I should follow your lead... the new ActiveRain has me wondering what is what.

Yes, aggravating indeed.  Hopefully they will fix this soon.  We also seem to take 2 steps forward and one back. But, this one may have been vice versa.

There has been a lot of over sold hype that CHANGE is GOOD!  However, I have learned over the years that not all change is evolutionary.  It is in fact mere raw energy, only as good as those with the power to shape, form and manifest it. The rest of us are mere mortals, who can only watch and see!

You probably have used a few choice expletives in there a well, as they certainly flow when trying to see what is going on

Hi Suzanne - If I were as conscientious as you about returning comments, I'd be upset too. But since I'm living in web page hell right now, I haven't had much time to think about it - I'm just hoping they fix it nefore I fix my website.

I have sent far too many wasted emails to tech people over the past few months, I am done with complaining and suggesting, clearly they have an agenda, and nothing that I have to say will influence them or their tunnel vision.

Suzanne - Wow, that must be very frustrating. It also makes me wonder if I am missing people commenting on my posts, and me not reciprocating. Sounds very time consuming, and I don't really know what the answer is. Hopefully it will get remedied soon.

Hi Suzanne --- I have never deleted comments or anything else from my home page.   Comment reciprocation is difficult and I admire your diligence especially during these ever-changing times.

Suzanne, I frustrated as well with some of the changes. Hopefully the least popular ones will be addressed sooner rather than later. Change sure is hard!

Good morning Suzanne. I certainly felt as you did, but they made a change I think and now it is easier.

Since many of you have been using ActiveRain for a long time, you have become accustomed to the way it works.  I, however, am a newbie and cannot even figure out what the changes ARE, let alone whether I like them or not.

AR has been a pain to deal with, however, I've always said that there is one person you can count on and that's Kerrie La Guardia.

Suzanne, I could not agree more.  Having just come back from a 3 week sojourn, it has been extremely difficult to navigate and to track who has commented on my posts so that I can reciprocate.  Kerrie La Guardia I hope you are listening.  I never complain about changes but this one is really an OUCH

Suzanne, it shows from the posts you are not alone.  I was not happy myself.  I agree with Bob Crane that there is an agenda we are not aware of and only time will tell exactly what it is. I was already stretching to justify my time in AR and with the last change looked more closely at my ROI here.  It is in the people within, certainly not leads from posts.  So I cancelled my Rainmaker status to be members only.   Best in the rest of your week.
