Getting Ready to Purchase?
It can feel like the details are endless when you’re buying a property. It is our job to streamline the process for you, ensuring everything is completed as quickly and efficiently as possible.
A Buyer's Consultation can take 30 minutes to an hour or more, depending on how many questions you have for us. We will ask you questions to develop a strong understanding of your goals and what is most important for you to include in your new home.
Once you have found the property you want, we will write an offer to purchase the house. While much of the agreement is standard, there are a few areas that we can negotiate: Price, Repairs, Personal Property, Closing Date.
A home buyer should always have a house inspection to learn the condition of the heating, cooling, electrical, and plumbing systems. An inspector will note what systems need repair or upgrades and provide a detailed written report of the findings.
Before the close of escrow, we will walk through the house a final time to verify it’s condition is consistent with the terms of the purchase contract. This includes the presence of noted appliances and warranted systems in the house such as heating, water, power, and air-conditioning. Closing day marks the end of your home-buying process and the beginning of your new life!
