Hiking around the Lusby community during the day can be wonderful. But when you take a Lusby Froggy Night Hike, it is absolutely mesmerizing. While the sun begins to set here in the east, you are invited to take a trek through Flag Ponds with your own guide. Learn about how many different types of frogs live in our neighborhood. Find out how to recreate their various calls. Discover how to identify the different species by their color and markings. Along the way, your guide will point out the different signs that spring has definitely sprung in Southern Maryland.
Calvert County Nature Society members can join in on the Lusby Froggy Night Hike absolutely free of charge. However, you don't have to be a member to participate. For the low cost of just $8, your entire family can join in on the fun.
