Livability.com Ranks Round Rock #1 as Best Affordable Places to Live

Looking for an affordable place to live that’s big on fun and amenities? Then it’s time to start looking at the Round Rock homes for sale. Liveability.com has just named Round Rock #1 on its 2015 list of the Best Affordable Places to Live. Here’s why!

Low Taxes

All Texans enjoy the fact that they don’t have to pay state income taxes. That means you keep more of your paychecks. The sales tax is also lower than many areas of the country at 8.25%, and the property tax works out to be just $824 on average.

Higher Wages

The Austin metro has been a popular relocation spot for years because businesses are hiring. As of September 2014, the unemployment rate in Austin was just 3.9%. On top of excellent job opportunities, Round Rock residents also have salaries that are higher than average.

Lower Cost of Living

The Council for Community and Economic Research found that Round Rock’s cost of living is 7% lower than the national average.

Bigger Homes for Less Money

Even though Austin’s home prices have risen slightly above average, Round Rock’s homes are still about $10,000 below the national median.

Nice post. You might want to include a phone number with your call to action. Many of your possible buyers may be "old fashioned" and prefer to use a phone. Also use bold to emphasize the main points.  If the bold words are also in your keyword tags, the search engines may respect it more.  One more tip, use your main keyword in your first sentence once, preferrably in bold.

Just a few notes to help you get started with useful blogging, from a native Texan who happens to be selling real estate on Cape Cod. 508-548-8888

I have been to Round Rock and found it to be lovely. It was good weather, very nice and clean and had many amenities that Dallas might even have! I was able to sit out in the rocking chair of my hotel on the front porch and drink an "Iced' T"!

Nice job and welcome to ActiveRain.

Have a Blessed St. Patrick's Day.

Grant me a sense of humor, Lord,

the saving grace to see a joke,

To win some happiness from life,

And pass it on to other folks.
