Your post and details of the tranquil walk actually relaxed me. We normally try to walk every morning and evening. Sometimes we don't say a word rather just take in Mother Nature and all she offers.

But I've got to agree, Myrl Jeffcoat has a really good idea.

Mark, that took me back to a very early walk through Reed College many many years ago, with my dog Butterscotch. It was if it was all ours--just the two of us--somewhat eery and magical. It was about 5am, and we came upon a home located on the college grounds, housing for students. I heard a lonely piano being played and it was like having my own private concert. A lovely memory, thank you!!

Hi Mark Don McInnes, Sandpoint !! I like this post. And I really like that photo of the Guardian of Sandpoint Nights (and the others too). For me taking a walk clears the head and gets my creative juices flowing. There's something about being in motion that's so good for the soul!

Don, thanks for ll the pictures as i always like to see stuff like this in other cities. Many years ago i spent over 2 weeks working an audit in Post Falls Idaho. Is Post Falls close to where you are located? 

I love your pictures, Mark. I haven't taken to giving Lucky pre dawn walks, but it does sound like a nice way to start the day. I'm not that early of a riser. Although this morning, I was up and out by 7:30 and Sue and I ran our dogs. They love to play together. 

Just wondering if you live downtown thus the early morning walks. I am still under the covers at that time but admire you for getting up and enjoying your day.
