One of the questions we run into a lot when people are working with a realtor or asking us: Should I find a House or Lender First?  We asked our local mortgage expert, Darren Copeland of KC Loan Tips and LeaderOne Financial, to answer this question and here's the answer he gave us!

It's that simple if you want to have a stress free home loan process and eliminate all the possible worries of finding a house but not being able to afford it; You should pick your lender first.  If you would like to get pre-approved with us  you can do so by clicking this link: mortgage pre-approval application.  Or if you're not ready to make that jump, travel on over to our YouTube Channel that will answer a lot of great questions about the entire mortgage process and help you understand what getting a home loan is all about!  Thanks for letting us answer your question of "Should I find a House or Lender First?"  We look forward to working with you.

not getting pre-approved is an easy way to set yourself up for failure when it comes to finding a home David.  Pre-approval is a great way to make sure you're only going to look at houses you can afford, and then cut out the heartbreak of finding your dream home only to have it way out of your price range!
