More New Homes To Be Built in Grand Junction to Meet Demand

Construction of new homes in Grand Junction has been going strong since 2013 due in part to a shortage of inventory and a decline in distressed properties.

A new project that will start this fall called Pinnacle Ridge will be constructed on 45 acres in the popular and prestigious "Redlands".  The project will consist of 79 single family homes on xeriscaped lots of around 12,000 square feet on average.  Construction will be in four or five phases on a schedule paired with sales.

Scenic views and 17 acres of preserved open space and a mile long  walking trail will push the demand for these homes.  Initial estimates of pricing is expected around $250,000 and up.

Two other Grand Junction home projects have been so successful that they are in their final phases.

Red Rocks Valley, a 100 unit subdivision that became available in late 2012 is nearing completion.  The subdivision sold close to 40 properties in the $300,000 price range since 2013.

Heritage Estates is a newer subdivision near 24 and H Roads and is nearly sold out.

All of this is good news for Grand Junction's economic outlook, home buyers and the local business climate.
