Tarrytown Real Estate Market Is In Desperate Need Of Inventory

It's no surpise that the Tarrytown real estate market is struggling with low inventory levels.  The good news for home sellers is many have multiple bid situations.  Homes are also selling quickly as the buyers that missed out on one home are all bidding on the next best one to hit the market.  If you are considering selling your home, this couldn't be a better time.  If you look back to 2005 you'll see the same sort of activity, a sellers market.

Here is how the Tarrytown single family home sales performed in February.  There were 2 closings, the lowest unit sales have been since March 2012!  The sales/list price ratio moved down to 95% from 100.8% in January.  The median price in February was $579,000 which is up a bit from this time last year.  The average days on market of 71 are down substantially from 161 in January and even more from 172 in February 2014.

Please feel free to contact me to discuss your housing options.

Christopher - Wish I could send you some of our homes, or you could send me some of your buyers. Our inventory is growing.

I love coffee & real estate. I am out of coffee!

Same boat, sir! Good luck fighting off 10 buyers per listing taken and then struggling to appraise for the agreed higher sales price!

Charlotte is definitely in the same boat, Christopher, as Tarreytown! Buyers are very frustrated to say the least.
