Color Code Your Wardrobe For Success
Red is a power color! It demands attention and is the most common color used in marketing.
When we work with our clients, we try to create the atmosphere which puts them at ease, so that they can share with us that which we need to help them with their real estate goals. We often do this by relating to our clients, our personality traits and our experiences, but have you considered what you wear?
I'm not talking about business suits vs jeans, I'm talking about what color you wear.
We all know that colors affect our moods. Most of use have read about the use of colors in our homes or offices to enhance our environment, it makes sense that the clothes we wear can affect feelings as well. After some research, here are the colors which can increase sales....and why.
Red
Red is a power color! It demands attention and is the most common color used in marketing. The striking color tends to keep focus on you. In real estate, too much can be a detriment....we do want them to see the property, so perhaps use as an accent color, scarf or tie.
Blue
Blue is the best color to be seen as trustworthy.
Yellow
Yellow is a power color also, it shows you are in control. It can convey that you are in charge and that you know what you're doing
Green
Green is a soothing color which tends to put people at ease. It's often used in decorating to create a relaxing and healthy environment. An added bonus is that green is the color of money and subtly brings to mind a feeling of wealth.
Brown
Brown is another comfort color, but make sure you can wear this color without looking washed out.
Just something to think about as you look through your tie or blouse collection for the next appointment.
