Spring has arrived and the grapevines and orchards are full of blossoms.  Spring is also that time of year when the festivals start.  This weekend is the Barrel into Spring event. Highlights include behind the scenes winery and vineyard tours, exquisitely prepared gourmet meals, tasting of wines that are not readily available to the general public, and of course, barrel sampling of wines paired with specialty foods.

Palisade is a charming little town about 12 miles east of Grand Junction.  Palisade is small and mostly rural with a lot of agriculture, but it has charm all of its own.  From Main St. with barrels of flowers on the sidewalks, the aroma of fresh baked goods from the bakeries, to the bustling summer Farmer's Market.  Palisade offers many choices in homes and lifestyles.  But the best part is the orchards, wineries and the recreation.  Come and spend the weekend in Palisade or become a homeowner!
