It’s The Magic Of AR
Recently, I made a comment on a post by Photoshop Princess and New England Home Stager Extraordinaire Sharon Tara on her post I Want My Agent Physically Present Each Time A Stranger Enters My Home. I wrote and apologized for my particularly long comment(you really should read Sharon’s post and follow her if you don’t already) and suggested my comment could become a post. And isn’t that true about ActiveRain? This incredible forum is full of ideas and concepts and re-interpretations and stories and sometimes just full of it. In fact, Sharon’s post was based on her thoughts on a post by Praful Thakkar Where Did I Go Wrong? Please help.....
So that brings me today....I was working on a post to publish today...and the finished product didn’t look quite right to me so I went the safe way - and scheduled another market report for this morning….and then I read Eric Boucher’s post announcing March Madness Contest Round 5 - The Finals. I actually read and liked it last night(and you should do both - he really has a great writing style) but felt my comment needed to be more creative so I didn't comment last night. This morning, I re-read his post, commented and decided my thoughts could become this post.
And so here is my post based on a comment on Eric’s post about March Madness Contest:
Sorry I’m late to the comment party but I’ve been racking my brain for blog post ideas and my head is filed only with market reports as well as doing my real job - selling real estate - it’s what I like to do...and AR continues to enhance that experience.
Endre Barath, Jr. is a friend and a terrific competitor. He is most knowledgeable in his field as well as a wonderful supporter of four-legged furballs of the canine and feline variety. He loves drink and food and while you see him with wine, I have yet to hear him whine. While his post Time is ticking: Need your help! was not awarded a gold star in this most recent round of the AR March Madness Contest, I did see a kitchen appliance truck circling his neighborhood --- can anyone see the advantage of product placement in our posts? I mean really...a brilliant strategy by Mr Barath.
I welcome the challenge for this finale of March Madness from the East via Praful Thakkar - in the flotsam and jutsam of his sea of reblogs, he will likely pull a rabbit out of his hat with another tale of a real estate experience gone bad with a magical post in this round. I'm quite sure of it.
And what can I say about Bill Liz and Bill Spear? How To Get More Comments On Your Posts...CLICK OR THE KITTEN GETS IT!!! The man is a blogging genius. I bow down before him, his puppy(borrowed, I believe), his kitties, his meerkat and his Buckeye friend Roger D. Mucci -- he knows how to pull out the big guns. Anyone who entered this challenge - who ignored those who did not compete with excuses of too difficult or too confusing(naysayers, I say!) are very glad that Roger did not enter -- oh my -- can you imagine? The shenanigans.
And once again, Eric - thanks for hosting this challenge...this contest….this March Madness...I can’t imagine the work and time you must have devoted to checking and re-checking the submitted posts and eliminating duplicate comments and making sure each was unique. And by the way - is there or is there not a video required? These contest rules can be so confusing?
And as I am prone to do. I digress.
Oh, and Sharon -- I'm still going to publish a post based on the comment I left on that post that you wrote. And everyone else can too! Thanks to everyone who comments on the posts I write. I never expected to have people read anything I wrote when I first joined AR and while I enjoy the points -- what is truly great about this forum...this place….are the people I have connected with...sometimes only online...fortunately sometimes by phone...and luckily it can happen in person too…
