As a Realtor®, it's important to let your target market know that you are the one to call when they are ready to buy or sell their property. Video is a creative and memorable way to easily market yourself locally. Not only is video cost-effective, it's extremely popular and, when optimized properly, is an excellent way to drive traffic to your website.
Here's 2 Ways to Easily Market Yourself Locally Using Video
- It's Not a TV Commercial - Let people know who you are and what you do for a living, but don't overdo it. Unless they're expecting it, your viewers will likely tune out if it sounds too much like a commercial.
- Let Someone Else Brag About You - One way to get people interested in you is to let someone who's already worked with you do the talking. It's great to promote your credentials and the services you provide; but it's always better when you can back it up by actual clients. Let your prospects see and hear it for themselves.

- Introduce Them to Your Community - People who are looking for a great place to live or retire are very interested in what the community has to offer. About 25 years ago, I had no idea where Lake Havasu City was let alone what they had to offer. What I did have, though, was a beautiful glossy brochure that was mailed to us in California. Just looking at the photos and reading what the real estate company had to say about the area excited us enough to take a look. If something as simple as a brochure can cause us to pick up and move to Lake Havasu City, imagine what you can do with a community video of your own.

Video creates an impact in the viewer's mind. They get to actually see and hear what you and others have to say about your abilities and the market you serve. A well-optimized video with local keywords, title and description will get your search engine ranking and increased recognition of your brand.
