Enjoying the Carlsbad Flower Fields on a Summer’s Day in Carlsbad CA

Hi Jeff -- anyone who is close to Carlsbad CA owes it  to themselves to see the flower fields at least once(and regular visits should be enouraged).   They really are something to enjoy.  

Wow, Jeff Dowler CRS.  Those are some beautiful sights!  Must be even better in person.   

Those are some pretty waves of colors,and it appears that a lot of people tried to walk through them as well.

a few years ago the state planted wildflowers in the medians of the interstate highways in my state, looked a lot like those photos  They they decided the flowers were distracting drivers and stopped the practice.  I miss the flowers.

Now I am impressed. And if I was in the area, I would be taking a ride for a closer look. They are beautiful.

Jeff - I remember seeing the Carlsbad Wind Mill when I worked for the Restarant company and would visit our unit there.  I didn't realize it had such a beaufiful flower field behind it.

What a beautiful sight to see, indeed!  Looks like a rainbow. Great photos!

What a great blog post! The colors are awesome and the ocean in the background, it doesn't get any better.

Jeff, Since Costco is just across the street, you really didn't have to go out of your way.

We are really fortunate that they have chosen to continue to grow their seed there on such expensive land. The Flower Fields are truly beautiful.
