What I Learned This Week At ActiveRain-March 22 to March 29, 2015
I learn something new every day at ActiveRain! With this series I try to highlight one post per day that gave me that “lightbulb” moment. It could be something techie, about Real Estate, about a place or person! Or it could be a post that made me sit up and take notice!
March 22: Gayle Rich-Boxman Speechless Sundays- Birdhouses of the Pacific Northwest
Besides Gayle’s wonderful birdhouse photos, she shows us an example of the best part of ActiveRain, and that is the community. Great shout out for Ron Marshall.
March 23: Joanna Cohlan Timeless Taste-Can There Be a Place for Everyone’s?
My mother had a saying- “Her taste was all in her mouth.” Taste doesn’t mean how much something cost. Read Joanna’s excellent post.
Ever the creative one, I loved Sharon’s post using Sesame Street techniques to give us a staging lesson.
Besides her excellent posts on flooring, look at what Debbie’s doing now that has improved her SEO.
March 24: Rene Fabre The Easter Bunny, in a Moment of Quiet Reflection.
Rene’s post reminds me of dying eggs, chocolate goodies, Easter baskets and so much more. You’ll enjoy this one.
March 25: Nina Hollander Top 6 Reasons for Moving in Retirement
This is good information to know whether you’re working with sellers or buyers. And builders take note, not every retiree wants to move to lilliputian surroundings.
March 26: Nicole Doty Arizona Scorpion Season -How to Detect and Treat for them.
I’m not crazy about things that crawl or slither. If there are scorpions near you, I’d suggest your read her post. I had no clue they could glow in the dark!
March 27: Janis Borgueta Awesome Photos-Blogs with Style!
I first learned about Google’s Auto Awesome from Janis. I love checking in on Google+ to see what goodies they’ve added to my photos!
March 28: Barry Owen The Struggle Creates the Loss
Pilots train in simulators so they can be prepared for whatever scenario rears its ugly head; salespeople will role play so they can answer any question or situation that is thrown at them. Think of Barry’s post the next time you feel backed in a corner.
