What a difference a few days makes! We are at the point that the house changes almost daily now that the sheetrock is up. You can see the walls and the features are starting to pop at you, like the light cove in the living room and entry area that will have adjustable lighting to set the right mood, whether entertaining or relaxing alone.

Here are a few pictures - let me know how they look!

Living room shelve space

You can see the light coves in the living room now. That will be the TV wall and is fully insulated to the master bedroom for privacy. The opening will have a storage cabinet and open shelves.

Kitchen

The kitchen is also starting to take shape. The island will be solid granite and two tiered so the work area and sink are lower than the sitting area. That is what the women said is the right thing to do.

Dining

A little dark, but the dining area has a recessed ceiling and large windows overlooking the back yard.

I'll be going out twice a week to update now. Although a few choices are left from the design center, that window is narrowing and you won't be able to make any individual choices soon. For example the cabinets are ordered and will be solid knotty alder! Can still choose tile and carpet, maybe some paint so come out today and take a look!
