Quince Haven is a quiet neighborhood that is set back about a mile from main roads avoiding traffic, commercial, and school noise. It's located close to the I-270 tech corridor for local employment. This is a family environment with places of worship, movie theaters, parks, lakes and family type restaurants a short drive away . And of course a nearby Starbucks.
What Is The Neighborhood Like?
Quince Haven is neighborhood of about 350 homes. The majority of houses are detached and come in two basic sizes and sit on .25 to .35 acre lots. First are homes of approx. 2,100 sf to 2,400 sf. This size home often has a one car garage. Second are larger homes of approx, 2,700 SF to 3,500 SF with a higher level of fit and finish and two car garges. There are 80 Luxury townhomes of about 2,000 SF with built-in two car garages and 37 1,100 sf condo townhomes. Detached homes sell in the high $675,00000 to $750,000. The luxury townhomes sell for about $625,000. There have been no recent sales of the townhome condos. Quince Haven is in the Quince Orchard High School feeder system. That means children go to Thurgood Marshall Elementary School, Ridgeview Middle School and Quince Orchard High School. Quince Orchard is a state and Nationaly ranked high school. It is one of the main attractions to living in this area.
