Today has been one of those days... My day started off at 5:30 am with a very cold shower... It seems that our power vent on our furnace has decided to play tricks on us! Thank goodness for service contracts. So from the cold shower I jumped in my car for my 7:30 Thursday breakfast networking club meeting... After spilling my coffee all over the place, I thought of that movie "Click", when that guy gets a remote control for his life... I wanted to so badly hit the rewind button and start the day over! When I got to the office by 9:30 I already had 4 fires in the hoper that needed my tending too, and in the midst of all of that our network went down! If I didn't know better I would swear that it was Friday the 13th or something. By 2:30 we were up and running again, got to shake the hand of the person who invented the service contract yet one more time... At 4:30 I got the call from the wife telling me that the part on the furnace that went, happens to be the only part that is not covered by the service contract! What fun... By 5pm I got the email from out tech explaining in his geek speak that the "frequency modulator" that blew just so happens NOT to be covered by our contract. GOT TO LOVE those service contracts...
9:15 at night taking my 2nd cold shower for the day! I calling it a night... I need a vacation.
