A man and his wife are returning from a party when they are pulled over by the local police.
Officer: Sir do you realize how fast you were driving?
Man: I had the cruise control set at the speed limit for area.
Wife: That's not true officer he was driving like a bat out of hell. Ihave benn asking him to slow down for the last 15 minutes.
Man: now angered you just sit there and keep your mouth shut
Officer: The real reason I pulled you over is that you have a busted tail light.
Man: That can not be the taillights were fine when we got in the car.
Wife: That's also not true I have asked my husband for the last month to replace the light.
Man: Did I not ask you you to sit there and keep your mouth shut.
Officer: Does your husband always speak to you like this mam?
Wife: Only when he is DRUNK
