Real Estate Market in Warner Robins GA

What happened to the Real Estate Market in Warner Robins GA in February 2015? Despite there being less inventory (5 months worth in this sellers market), buyers were not skiddish, purchasing plenty of homes when they found one they liked for the price they were willing to pay. Like all the Houston County GA markets, sellers who priced their home according to the current market conditions saw the most activity and many of these homes closed as a result.

The number of home sales (85) went up 40% from the previous month and 18% over the 12-month average as buyers and investors found what they were looking for in the Warner Robins real estate market! Also, the sales price to list price ratio tracked favorably with the 12-month average coming in at 96.91% (annual average is 96.84%). When homes are market priced, sellers will typically see higher returns in this market.

The number of days-on-market for homes that sold (115 days) was not stellar, off the 12-month average (91 days), but it was good to see some of the older inventory leave this market. For at least the next few months, I hope this trend continues in this sellers market.
