Recently I went to a new restaurant that I think will be one of the best little known restaurants in South Tampa and one that will definently be on my repeat menu
In fact, I may even start a series of some of the best little known restaurants in South Tampa just so that you can get a feel of the eateries in the South Tampa Florida area.
Daily Eats, one of the best little known restaurants in South Tampa
Daily Eats is located on South Howard Ave just south of West Bristol avenue in South Tampa, not too far from Bayshore Drive. Not far from the University of Tampa main campus and downtown Tampa
A rather small establishment and with the small town diner feel, my party and I was greeted propmtly and courteously. Daily Eats is open most days until 10 PM and serves breakfast all day.
Our waitress was very personable and friendly and went over the menu and told us a little about this best little known restaurants in South Tampa.
Four of us each had something different and ate out of everyone's bowl just to try the different dishes. Daily Eats Tampa is best known for their shredder bowls. Our party has the Gyro Shredder Bowl, the Fried Chicken Shredder Bowl and another shredder bowl (I forgot what it was) and I had the LOX breakfast bowl.
The LOX breakfast bowl is scrambled eggs with onions, scallions and a few other goodies that is on top of a bed of crispy tater tots. On top of all that was placed a chunk of thinly sliced LOX (smoked salmon) with a side of onion and herb cream cheese, which was very creamy.
Daily Eats serves craft beers, draft and bottled beer, some wines and mojitos.
