We may still have snow on the ground but it is April and Winter 2015 is in the rear-view mirror. And what an historic winter it was. Everyone is ready to move on to SPRING!
With Spring comes Easter. There are a few Easter events going on this weekend in Canton MA. If only the Spring weather would come along with it.
Every year the Canton MA Parks and Recreation Department holds an Easter Egg Hunt. Normally it is held outdoor at Pequitside Farm but because of the cool temperatures, predicted inclement weather and remaining snow on the ground, this year it is being held indoors at the Canton High Gym.
The 2015 Canton MA Easter Egg Hunt will be heldthis Saturday, April 4, 2015 from 12:00 pm to 1:30 pm. Find the Golden Egg and win a prize! Each age group has its own time frame for searching as follows:
12:15 pm: Ages 1-3
12:30 pm: Ages 4-6
12:40 pm: Ages 7-10
What? No time for adult egg-hunters?
There will be music from Canton's home-town DJ, Gary Titus, games and activities for the kids and a visit from Ronald McDonald and the Easter Bunny himself!
It's always a fun event for the kids and best of all, it is FREE.
The Easter Bunny will be busy on Saturday. He will also be making an appearance at The Village Shoppes in Canton. From 12 pm - 3 pm he will be next to the GNC store and kids can get their picture taken with him - also FREE. The Village Shoppes are located at 95 Washington Street in Canton, right at the junction of the Canton, Sharon and Stoughton town lines.
Wishing all who celebrate a joyous Easter this weekend!
