Today is an exciting day! The Agency on Aging of South Central Connecticut has officially launched Care Network Link LLC. CNL is a wholly owned subsidiary which was formed to assist older adults in the entire state of Connecticut who may not be able to qualify for the Agency on Aging's traditional programs which all carry eligibility parameters.
Problem was: The Agency on Aging has strict criteria to assist the most vulnerable seniors and people with disabilities. Low income ceiling requirements meant the Agency could not help all those in need who reached out to them.
Solution found: Born out of this frustration of seeing so many unmet caregiving needs, Care Network Link was created to be a reliable resource in Connecticut for members to find services for their loved ones to stay at home as long as possible. Membership is Free. CNL's mission is to guide their members through the myriad of available options so that they can make informed decisions that will allow them to maximize their independence and minimize their reliance on institutionalized care. From audiology to heavy duty handyman chores to in-home respite care services, you can find the list of services provided here.
I am a credentialed Provider and I hope that you encourage your friends and loved ones to use this site as a resource for finding reliable service providers throughout Connecticut. We all know someone who does not qualify for the programs through the Agency on Aging and the CNL website can be a valuable resource for those trying find solutions for a loved one.
