It’s that time of year again – egg decorating, chocolate bunnies, Easter Baskets, and traditional Easter Egg Hunts in Carlsbad CA
If you’re not doing your own egg hunt at home, or your neighborhood isn’t, or if you just want to enjoy some other Easter festivities Carlsbad offers a few Easter Egg Hunts, brunches and more that are sure to please.
EGGStravaganza Spring Festival – at the Poinsettia Community Park at 6600 Hidden Valley Road. Much more than just an Easter Egg Hunt, it’s the biggest egg hunt in town with other things to do including face painting, crafts, cookie decorating, soak the bunny and more. The Egg Scramble runs from 10:30 am until 12:30 pm with several groupings of 20 – 30 kids at a time in the 6 years and older competitive field and the 5 years and under. There are opportunities for non-competition plus special needs, too. An activity card is required at $6, and parents can participate for terrific photo ops. 760-931-6528
Easter Bunny Visit and Egg Treasure Hunt – at the Carlsbad Premium Outlets Mall from 12:30 – 4 pm on April 4th. The Treasure Hunt runs from 12:30 – 1:30 and the Easter Bunny visit and Arts and Crafts are from 1 – 4 PM in the Center Court. Eggs are given out at various participating outlet stores throughout the mall while supplies last – a treasure map is available in Center Court to get kids started.
Easter Brunch and Easter Egg Hunt at the Sheraton Hotel, Carlsbad on April 5th. Enjoy an elaborate brunch with an Easter Egg Hunt for the kids from 11:30 – 3:30 at Twenty/20. The Egg Hunt is at 1, with lawn activities for the kids from 1 – 3. The Easter Bunny will visit throughout Brunch and a photo booth is available.
Celebrate Easter Brunch at the Omni La Costa Resort and Spa, La Costa, Carlsbad on Sunday April 5. Better get out that wallet, this brunch is a pricey one, at $119.18 per adult and $52.23 per kid ages 5 – 12. Held at the Costa Del Sol Ballroom from 10 – 2 (last seating) with Easter Egg Hunts at 9:30, 11:30, and 1:30 (complementary – BYOB…bring your own basket!).
