The difference between what become possible for one person and impossible for other is in a person’s determination.
Tommy Lasorda played for the Brooklyn Dodgers for 4 years . . . . and appeared in just 26 games as a pitcher. In his entire major league career he never won a game and lost 4 games.
Tommy Lasorda used his knowledge of baseball . . . . and his determination to propel him to the next level.
He became a hall of fame manager for the Dodgers. Tommy was twice being named manager of the year, winning 1599 games and 2 World Series over a 21 year career as the Dodgers manger.
Lasorda found what was possible in his determination . . . . and he pursued his career with passion and enthusiasm.
That determination resides within all of us. You have to reach down into our character . . . . and release your determination.
