2015 Houston’s Art Car Parade

The Houston's Art Car Parade date has been set and secured by the producers of the Orange Show Center for Visionary Art! The Houston Art Car Parade has been a great crowed pleaser in the past.

As noted by their website the schedule of events are as follows:

April 9 - Main Street Drag

April 9 - Sneak Peek at Discover Green

April 10 - Art Car Ball presented by Arts Brookfield

April 11 - 28th Annual Art Car parade and VIP Party

April 12 - Awards Ceremony - Smither's Park

Houston's very hot and humid weather conditions that kept some from attending will no longer be a problem as this year the event has been scheduled for April 11th.

I hope that those of you that can will attend this year.

Belinda Spillman I hope the weather will be perfect I have two functions that I want to attend that day... the parade that happens early in the morning and a BBQ cook off in Luling Texas... 200 miles away! I hope to make both!

Grant Schneider I really feel that the art cars started when I was about 12 years old in my neighborhood in Houston. A local neighbor started by adding one spot light to his convertible Caddie and then ending up covering the entire car with lights. When when would drive with them on he was a giant ball of light.
