Celebrating Easter on the Day Before!

My family had a great backyard Easter gathering planned for Sunday.  However, the weather man, predicted rain for the big day, so we decided to have our celebration on Saturday instead.  There was plenty of Good Company, Good Food, an Egg Hunt and Spa Time.

Yesterday (Easter) we still had about eleven family members in town, so we met at my house for simpler fare - Spaghetti, Salad, Broiled Asparagus, Fresh Strawberries with Whipped Creme.  And, there was Cookies, Pie and Ice Cream!

The rain came, but it was over early, and was only slight!

This picture was taken of my 3 grand-daughters and a daughter in law, on Saturday.

 We too celebrate things on different days as long as it fits our schedule! I find it funny that some people have to celebrate their birthdays or anniversary that day we usually wait for the weekend and celebrate again when everyone can get together!

Myrl, great looking bunch of kids...sounds like you all had a good time. This weekend is Greek Easter and I think it's the first time I haven't cooked a Greek meal...just to busy I guess.
