My name is Julie and I am Rich's colleague. New to the recruiting industry as a whole, I am still learning new tricks of the trade with each day presenting new challenges. Mortgage banking, just like the recruiting world, is full of various personalities and I believe I have encountered just about every one since I acquired this position 6 months ago. However, I have no need to worry because I love talking to people. This love enables me to learn the most about a candidate's dreams, aspirations, and expectations of their prospective employer...even of me!
My personal background is diverse just like many of the loan officers I come in contact with on a daily basis. Born and raised in Sharon, Pennsylvania, a small industrial town about 75 miles northwest of Pittsburgh, I acquired great appreciation for all things local, especially the Pittsburgh Steelers! For college, I took a step back from my EXTENSIVE blood-line of Penn State alumni, and The Ohio State University became my collegiate destination of choice. Upon earning my B.A. in Communications, I settled in the suburban Cleveland, Ohio area with my husband, Jim. My professional history runs the gambit. I have been a comestible engineer (i.e. waitress), sold furniture, and worked for a private investigator. Now that I'm an executive recruiter, I understand what it means to feel personally and professionally fulfilled. I assist people in moving along to a better opportunity and that makes me feel great!
