Home prices in Palm Beach Gardens country club community of Mirasol have declined about five percent during the first quarter of 2015 compared with the same period in 2014.
This is providing wonderful opportunities for buyers interested in one of the community's beautiful country club homes.
The median price of a single family home in Mirasol in 1Q 2015 was $600,000 compared with $630,000 with the same period a year ago. Median price reflects half of the homes selling at a higher price and half selling at a lower price.
Price per square foot, the common measurement for comparing homes, has also declined between 2014 and 2015 going from $214/SF to $205/SF.
Median price of homes sold in Mirasol was in the high $600,000's to middle $700,000's in the past, so the current market is providing buyers with unusual opportunities to acquire property in this wonderful community.
Mirasol has about 1500 high end homes built between 2002 and 2010. It is a gated community. The country club has two golf courses, and resort style amenities from the pool area, to the fitness center, tennis courts and spa. There are several restaurants at Mirasol as well.
In early April 2015 there were 64 homes on the market in Mirasol ranging from $369,900 for a small three bedroom, two bath residence to $3,495,000 for a five bedroom, seven bath estate home. Of the 45 homes for sale in Mirasol, 45 were priced under $1 million.
