Tallapoosa, GA Dogwood Festival is Saturday, April 11, 2015.
Tallapoosa, GA is located just off Exit 5 on Interstate 20. It is the last exit before Alabama.
The festivities actually start off on Friday night at 6:30 pm with the Dogwood Festival Pagent at the Tallapoosa Civic Center at 244 Robertson Ave.
The Dogwood Dash 5 K will start at 8 am on Saturday morning - admission fee $20.
The Dogwood Festival will center around Head Ave. starting at 9:00 am, with many food and craft vendors, and lots of activities for the children.
Local entertainment all day, with old fashioned horse drawn carriage rides, free all day.
Dogwood Fevstival parade will begin at 2:00 pm
The entertainment will continue all day, ending with a street dance.
