Zillow, Trulia And Your Listing in Knoxville TN
A major change has occurred this week in the way listings are advertised on Zillow.com and Trulia.com. The feed that sends listing information from the Knoxville area MLS to these websites was turned off. As a result, the listings of many real estate agents and/or real estate brokerages in the area are no longer visible on Zillow or Trulia. The company that the Knoxville area MLS uses for this feed decided not to renew their agreement with the entity that owns both of these websites.
Fortunately for Holli McCray Group clients, we have an agreement in place that allows us to continue advertising our listings on both Zillow and Trulia. This ensures that our listings will continue to be visible with current information on both websites.
So why is this important? Zillow.com, Trulia.com and Realtor.com are 2 of the most visited real estate websites in the country. We have thousands of buyers all over the country viewing your listing on these websites each month. It is imperative that your property has a professional and accurate presence on them to ensure it gets maximum exposure. We consistently sell listings to buyers who contact us through these websites.
Is this a good thing for Holli McCray Group clients? Absolutely! Many real estate agents and brokerages in our area no longer have their listings visible on Zillow or Trulia. This means there are less properties competing against our listings on these websites.
