Spring has Arrived

By
Real Estate Agent with Long and Foster- Smith Mountain Lake

Well spring is here.  The grass has turned green, the buds are on the trees with some leaves.  It is the spring market to buy real estate!!

First you have to be aware that every market is different, even when you go from county to county.  What happens in one county does not always affect the market values to another county.

Are you looking for the first time home buyers market?   Are you aware if you qualify the FHA limits have been raised to 271,050!!

Waterfront property, yes the market has re-adjusted.  You are basically purchasing at the price that it was 2 years ago.  But like most things, it will up from here.  Get it while it is hot!!

Are you thinking of purchasing a rental home?  Long and Foster has a property management division, and we have alot of vacation rentals each week.  In Bedford County you can even weekly rent your waterfront home!!  Let someone else pay for it for you, while you build your net worth.

Feel free to give me a call and talk about purchasing form the Roanoke Valley to Smith Mountain Lake and Beyond...

I am even finding in the same town or city there can be pockets, either geographical or by price range that are responding very differently

I see the same thing.  Just a few miles in one direction and it can be a totally different market!

Spring is not to Minnesota yet.  A lot of spots got 12 inches of snow last night.
