Why You Should Use Scripts

Like it or not, you are using a script.  No matter how hard you try, you tend to say the same things on appointments, or on the phone over and over again.

Try as you may, your reluctance to use a script results in you “using a script” of your own making!

I would simply suggest to you that if you aren’t happy with the results you are getting, or would like to increase the amount of deals you are currently getting… perhaps you might consider changing the scripts you are using a bit!

Rather than thinking of them as scripts, think of it as mastering the conversation. I wish I could take credit for that term but I can't. I actually heard it in a webinar last week that made a lot of sense to me. This is a skill I want to master.

I like to call it "Controlling the sales environment...."  

There is nothing wrong with a little "Positive Control" to help the customer make a decision that is going to help them get what they want!!! Thanks for taking the time to read it!

It is necessary to start with genetic scripts to gain confidence, but with time, each of us develop personal scripts customizable for each client.
