If you haven't had an opportunity to experience the Mobile Food Fun that is known as Eat The Street. Don't worry they are moving to a temporary location in anticipation of their new home at the former Fisherman's Wharf at Kewalo harbor. But before they can settle into their new digs they will be spinning meals at the Kaka'ako Gateway Park while their new space is being redeveloped.

The former location, the parking lot at 555 South Street will be the address for the new Residential Condo Project Keauhou Place and Keauhou Lane, construction for which is slated to begin shortly.

The future home of Eat the Street will occupy the former Fisherman's Wharf at Kewalo Boat Harbor which is being redeveloped by The Office of Hawaiian Affairs. In the interim Eat the Street will operate out of Gateway Park.

Nice term for this event.

Here, it's the Truckeroo, but it starts a week from Friday (April 24) for us.

I hope you get to go play and sample the options.

Aloha Claude, Eat the Street is a once a month event with a new theme every month. This month will feature Philipino Cuisine, I imagine there will be lots of fired lumpia(egg rolls) both savory and sweet, as well as, variations on Adobo which is a classic garlic seasoning for meats.

Aloha R n A, with all the new development changing the landscape of Kaka'ako. Locals, Business's, and Developers wanted to make sure the existing community would not be displaced. It's a great vision for the future but at what cost to the local consumer?
